What we keep

Your phone number, first name and what you asked for. Receipts for 90 days, in case something's disputed. Where you were during a handoff, for 24 hours. Never your selfie; our verification partner keeps that. Ask us for a copy or to delete it all, any time.

What we keep, and for how long

Your phone number and first name. For as long as you have an account. Your first name is the only name anyone else sees.
What you asked for, and what you grabbed. Each ask is a financial record: item, thank-you, fee, who was on each side, when the codes matched. We keep these indefinitely, because money moved.
Receipt photos. 90 days, in a private store, in case something is disputed. Then they are deleted.
Where you were during a handoff. Rounded to about 11 metres, only while an ask is live, deleted after 24 hours. Your position in line is a number you type, not a pin.
What you're wearing. The short description you set so someone can find you on the corner. Cleared every night.
Your card and your payout details. Our payments partner holds them. We keep a token that lets us hold and release money, never the card number.
Your selfie. We never see it. Our verification partner checks it against the photo on your ID and tells us yes or no. That is all we store: a yes, and a date.
Ratings. The one-tap Good or Not good after a handoff. Private. Nobody sees a score, including you.

What we never keep

A live map of where you are when there is no ask happening.
Your contacts, your photos beyond the receipt you chose to snap, or anything else on your phone.
Chat. There is no chat.
Cookies on this website. Our analytics count page views without identifying you.

Who else sees any of it

The person on the other side of your ask sees your first name, your verified check, your handoff count, your clothing description, and, on the walk to the meeting point only, your live location. It turns off at the handoff. Our payments partner, our verification partner and our receipt reader see the pieces they need to do those jobs and nothing else. We do not sell any of it to anyone.

Getting a copy, or deleting it all

In the app, under You, ask for an export and we send a file of everything above. Ask to delete and we remove what identifies you within 30 days. Financial records stay, with your name and number stripped out, because the law says they have to.
